This itinerary covers Tarangire National Park, Serengeti National Park, Ngorongoro Crater, and Lake Manyara National Park, giving you the opportunity to see diverse wildlife and landscapes.

Day 0: Arrival in Kilimanjaro

Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you’ll be greeted by one of our friendly drivers, who will transfer you to your hotel in Moshi. Depending on your arrival time, you can either relax at the lodge or explore the nearby town of Moshi. In the evening, you’ll meet with your safari guide, who will provide an overview of the trip and answer any questions you might have.

Day 1: Tarangire National Park

Your adventure starts with a morning departure from Arusha to Tarangire National Park. Known for its vast herds of elephants and ancient baobab trees, Tarangire offers incredible wildlife viewing. You’ll see animals gathering around the Tarangire River, including zebras, giraffes, bushbucks, and warthogs. Predators like lions are often seen prowling the savannah, and if you’re lucky, you might spot a leopard lounging in a tree.

At the end of the day, you’ll head to the Kizumba or Sunbright Campsite for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Tarangire to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, you’ll drive through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area en route to Serengeti National Park. The Serengeti is famous for its endless plains and diverse wildlife, including lions, elephants, cheetahs, and thousands of wildebeest and zebras that migrate across the park.

You’ll arrive in the Seronera area by midday, where you’ll spend the afternoon exploring this wildlife-rich region. The Seronera River serves as a critical water source, attracting numerous animals throughout the year. After an exciting day of wildlife viewing, you’ll camp under the stars in the heart of the Serengeti.

Day 3: Full Day in Serengeti National Park

Your third day is dedicated to exploring the central Serengeti. Known as the Seronera area, this part of the park is teeming with wildlife, thanks to the presence of the Seronera River. You’ll have a full day of game drives, giving you ample time to see some of the park’s iconic animals, including elephants, giraffes, lions, leopards, and possibly cheetahs.

After an adventurous day, you’ll return to camp for dinner and another night in the Serengeti.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, you’ll head toward the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its incredible concentration of wildlife. As you descend into the crater, you’ll witness a diverse range of animals, from wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles to the Big Five: lions, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, and rhinos.

You’ll enjoy a picnic lunch in the crater before spending the afternoon on a game drive, spotting animals in this natural sanctuary. In the evening, you’ll travel to Mto Wa Mbu for dinner and an overnight stay at Kizumba Campsite.

Day 5: Lake Manyara National Park and Return to Arusha

On the final day of your safari, you’ll visit Lake Manyara National Park, a small but vibrant park known for its birdlife and tree-climbing lions. The park is home to over 400 species of birds, including flamingos, pelicans, and storks. You’ll also encounter baboons, monkeys, and perhaps even a shy leopard hiding in the trees.

After an extensive game drive, you’ll return to Arusha, arriving by late afternoon, marking the end of your safari adventure.
