Day 0: Pre-trek Briefing.
For a splendid 4-Days Mount Meru Trek in 2026,If you have opted for the optional airport transfers, we will pick you up from Kilimanjaro Airport or Arusha airport and transfer you to your hotel in Arusha. Pre-trek briefing at your Arusha hotel for your splendid 4-days Mount Meru Trek in 2026. You should be planning to arrive at least one day before the start of the trek. On this Day, we will spend the day having a pre-trek briefing. We will also review your equipment and rent any equipment which is needed at a local shop.
Day 1: Hotel to Miriakamba Hut via Momella Gate.
A 4-Day Mount Meru Trek, takes roughly one hour and thirty minutes to drive from Arusha to Momella Gate. Once at the gate we will fulfil all the requirements and depart for the journey. The trip passes through locations where you can get amazing views of the famous Momella lakes and Mount Kilimanjaro. On this day, hikers come across animals such as warthogs, giraffes, bushbucks, and Cape buffaloes. We travel a little further before arriving at the Miriakamba hut.
Elevation range: 1500 m/4921 feet to 2500 m/8202 ft
Distance: 3.5 miles/6 km
Four to five hours of hiking.
Meals: Dinner and Lunch
Day 2: From Miriakamba Hut to Saddle Hut.
On this Day of a Splendid -Day Mount Meru Trek, we walk along the saddle’s peak on the difficult trail. Along the route, you may see Little Meru, the ash cone, and the magnificent Meru crater. We may come across animals like black and white colonial monkeys and Cape buffaloes. At Saddle Hut, the journey will come to a conclusion. After you’ve settled into the camp, we’ll go on a quick hike to Little Meru (3810m) for adjustment before returning to Saddle Hut.

Day 3: Saddle Hut to Miriakamba Hut via Socialist Peak
On this Third day of the Splendid 4-Days Mount Meru Trek,we eat a light supper to maintain our energy levels high when we wake up shortly after midnight. After eating, we begin the last climb to Socialist Peak. We will be travelling through jagged cliffs and gravel on this hard climb. This is the most mentally and physically demanding part of the journey. You will be treated to breathtaking views of the Ash cone and Meru Crater once you reach the summit. Over the rocky crest, it’s possible to see species like Klipspringer swans and mountain elks.
We start our descent from the top by going directly down to the Miriakamba hut.
Elevation: 3500 m/11483 ft to 4562 m/14967 ft to 2500 m/8202 ft
Distance: 12 miles or 19 km
Ten to twelve hours of hiking
Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner.
Day 4: Momella gate to Miriakamba Hut
The Ultimate and lastly Day of a 4-Day Mount Meru Trek, we continue the walk down to the Momella Gate after breakfast, but this day’s trekking distance is different because we will take the southern path. Additionally, we will go through the breathtaking Fig Tree Arch.

Terms of Payment Deposit Payment.
20% of the total booking price is required as a deposit.The deposit can be made online with a credit card or by a bank transfer.
All card payments are subject to a 5% fee (payment gateway costs), which is non-refundable.
We provide bank accounts for bank transfers in different currencies.
A booking confirmation will be sent to you after the upfront payment is made.
Balance Payment
The remaining amount can be paid with cash, a bank transfer, or an online credit card.15 days before the tour date, bank payments can be made (but it is advised to do it 30 days in advance).
One day before the trip date, card payments can be made (but it is advised to do it seven days in advance).
All card payments are subject to a 5% payment gateway fee, which is non-refundable.
When you arrive, you can pay with cash (USD printed in or after 2009).
Policy of Cancellation.
8 days and above departure.
– No cancellation fees.
0 to 7 days before departure.
– 50% of the total tour price will be charged as cancellation fees.
– Trek can be postponed to any new date without any extra cost at any point in time.
– The 5% surcharge paid for either or both advance and balance payments is non-refundable in case of cancellation of the trek.
